The Ion Drop is a handheld shower head with a PP-cotton cartridge inside it. As water passes through, it reduces chlorine taste and odour and traps fine sediment, so the rinse feels softer and hair looks smoother. It screws onto a standard half-inch hose by hand in about two minutes. It does not soften hard water and is not a drinking-water filter.
